Summer Reading Club 2012 : Strange… But True? Kids, why not investigate some great reading this summer! You too will be wondering whether what you're reading is Strange… But True? when you join the 2012 Summer Reading Club free right here at the Library. Explore Wild, Wild, Life and Biggest, Fastest, First and Weird Science. In fact, even a monster or two may make an appearance. Storytime at Free Spirit Daycare (FOR FREE SPIRIT CLIENTS)

The Library takes its Storytime on the road to PRACL's Free Spirit Daycare every 2nd Thursday at 10:30 a.m. This event is FOR FREE SPIRIT CLIENTS.
Monthly Memoir Workshop - Group #1 (FOR MEMOIR COURSE GRADUATES)
10:45 am - 12:45 pm
This group of memoir writers is made up of graduates of the Memoir Writing for Seniors course who have committed to continuing their memoir writing in a dedicated way. The workshop is for sharing a new piece of memoir writing and giving feedback on the works of others. The workshop is facilitated by writer/editor and Seniors Services Coordinator, Sandra Tonn. Group 1 meets the second Thursday of each month at the Powell River Museum and Archives.
