It’s not just about Kindle, Amazon!  ebooks are popping up all over.  In fact, we’ve offered them at the Library for quite awhile now.  Our ebooks are in an electronic library called, “Library to Go”—you check things out that you want to read on your computer or personal digital assistant (PDA) and they are automatically de-activated when their time expires.  Kind of like, “this message will self-destruct in 15 seconds” except that you actually have to delete expired titles yourself.
