Graduates of Memoir Writing Courses Meet

Some of the graduates of the Memoir Writing for Seniors course have committed to continuing their memoir writing in a dedicated way.  The Library offers a monthly workshop for these senior writers to share a new piece of memoir writing once a month and receive feedback, while offering an ear and feedback on the works of others.  The workshop is facilitated by writer/editor and Library Assistant Sandra Tonn.  Group 1 meets the second Thursday of each month and Group 2 meets the last Thursday of each month at the Powell River Museum and Archives.  You can consult our Events Calendar for further details.  For information about an upcoming Memoir Writing for Seniors course contact Sandra at the Library by calling 604-485-8667 or by email to stonn@powellriverlibrary.ca.
