Design Open House - Thank You!
Thanks to everyone who came out to see the preliminary design concept for the new Library at the Open House on Monday, March 26. Your enthusiasm for the new Library will make this important project happen. Stay tuned for the final design concept which we'll release after it is approved by the Board of Trustees. We anticipate that this will happen at their May meeting.

Graduates of Memoir Writing Courses Meet
Some of the graduates of the Memoir Writing for Seniors course have committed to continuing their memoir writing in a dedicated way. The Library offers a monthly workshop for these senior writers to share a new piece of memoir writing once a month and receive feedback, while offering an ear and feedback on the works of others. The workshop is facilitated by writer/editor and Library Assistant Sandra Tonn. Group 1 meets the second Thursday of each month and Group 2 meets the last Thursday of each month at the Powell River Museum and Archives. You can consult our Events Calendar for further details.
