Seniors Events Calendar

This group of memoir writers is made up of graduates of the Memoir Writing for Seniors course who have committed to continuing their memoir writing in a dedicated way.  The workshop is for sharing a new piece of memoir writing and giving feedback on the works of others.  The workshop is facilitated by writer/editor and Seniors Services Coordinator, Sandra Tonn.  Group 2 meets the last Thursday of each month at the Powell River Museum and Archives.  For information about an upcoming Memoir Writing for Seniors  course contact Sandra at the Library at 604-485-8667 or by email to stonn@powellriverlibrary.ca.

Every Thursday from 1:30-2:30 in the afternoon, a Library volunteer reads Library material to a group of residents at Kiwanis Manor. THIS EVENT IS FOR KIWANIS MANOR RESIDENTS.

Every Thursday from 4:00 - 4:45 in the afternoon, a Library volunteer reads Library material to a group of residents at Olive Devaud care facility.  THIS EVENT IS FOR RESIDENTS OF OLIVE DEVAUD.
