Interlibrary
Loans
Through the Powell River Public Library you may
gain access to books in other public libraries. You can locate materials using the
Interlibrary Loan button at the top of the
screen, which links you to B.C.'s Outlook Online catalogue. Ask a
librarian for help if you require assistance in searching. You can bring your
request into the library in person, phone us, use the patron request feature of
Outlook, or send your request by email to: ill@powellriverlibrary.ca
Requests take a week to ten days and can be picked up at the library with
presentation of a Powell River library card.

Computer Instruction
The Library offers free computer instruction as part of our mission to
promote literacy in Powell River. Every two weeks we offer one of three 1-hour
sessions: Introduction to Computers; How to Use Email; or Using the
Internet. We post the schedule for these classes in the Library. You may sign up
for a class at the Service Desk or by phoning the library at 604-485-4796.
